Wine & Dine and Meet the Winemaker
After 20+ vintages in Oregon, Andrew Rich could be considered a veteran. His passion for wine began, oddly enough, in the urban center of New York City, as a wine columnist for a national magazine.
When the pull of wine outweighed publishing, he headed to Burgundy to study winemaking and viticulture and then on to jobs in wineries in California and then Oregon in 1994.
His vision was to make Rhône-style wines in the Pacific Northwest though plantings at the time were scarce and over the years he developed a love for Pinot Noir which became his dominant focus though he still makes a range of other wines (many which we will get to taste at this dinner!) sourced from both the Willamette Valley and the Columbia Valley (Washington).
Our special menu for the evening has been curated by Chef Justin Solomon and will include six wines and four courses, served Family-Style
