GREENVILLE SC | Bordeaux Wine Dinner with Ingrid Chambas and Aleph Wines

Grand Bordeaux Dinner with Ingrid Chambas

The Bordeaux wine region extends outward for some 60 miles around the city along three rivers – the Gironde, Garonne and Dordogne – of Europe’s largest estuary to create an ideal setting for winemaking that is complemented by a temperate climate with a short winter and high levels of humidity courtesy of the nearby Atlantic Ocean. Age-worthy reds made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are the world-standard for these grapes: wherever these varieties are grown elsewhere in the world, it’s with the great wines of Bordeaux that they have to contend. We at Foxcroft firmly believe that there’s more top-value, age-worthy wine to be found in Bordeaux than anywhere else in France, or the world for that matter. If it’s been a while since you re-visited Bordeaux, now’s the time to get re-acquainted with our amazing lineup of Châteaux large and small.
