It would be difficult to overstate the profound influence the nation of France has had on the development of fine wine around the world. From the grape varieties themselves to when and how to blend, the vocabulary around winemaking and the elusive concept of terroir, France has left its mark on every aspect of how wines are made. Generations of history and a passionate devotion to quality unite diverse regions in this amazing country, every corner of which seems to be overflowing with vineyards.

Our very special guest for the evening will be Ingrid Chambas, a lifelong veteran of the French Wine industry with roots on both sides of the Atlantic. Ingrid is vice-president of Columbia-based Aleph Wines, a premier distributor of fine wines in South Carolina. Her stories and personal connection to the wines we’re serving will no doubt make this an evening to remember!
