Tradition can be a blessing and also a curse: the same deep roots that inform and guide winemaking and wine styles can also restrict and strangle innovation. Strict laws and regulations governing what can and can’t be produced have often held back innovation in some of the world’s most famous wine regions. The story of wine in American is primarily about invention and audacity, rather than tradition. It takes ambition and vision to bring about change in what we drink and we at Foxcroft are excited to share some of our favorite iconoclasts of wine.  

Join us for an evening of exploration as we taste wines from some of the most talented winemakers in the USA, whose wines are pushing boundaries and challenging our notions of what American wine can be.


Our honored guest speaker for the evening is David McCarus, owner and founder of McCarus Beverage Co. As a sommelier and now importer and wholesaler, David has long championed the talent and vision of young, creative winemaking talent; and he’s the perfect guide to all that’s new and exciting in American wine.
