James was born and raised in the Midlands, where he now lives with his wife and daughter. After spending an extravagant amount of other people’s money on a liberal arts education, he discovered a knack for articulating what makes wine wonderful, and decided that a life in wine was for him. He has visited vineyards in several different countries, and is interested in wine as a means of storytelling

Chris was born and raised in New Jersey but moved to Charleston SC to attend Johnson and Wales and remained in Charleston after graduating to be part of the opening team in HMGI’s second restaurant, Blossom cafe. From there he moved to several prominent cities in the southeast including Atlanta, Savannah, DC and Charlotte. More recently he moved down to Greenville with the Foxcroft team to be closer to family.
Outside of kitchens he enjoys gardening, landscaping and outdoor activities such as hiking, is an avid dog lover and a beach bum at heart. But one of the things he enjoys most is the process of transforming quality local ingredients into a meal that brings folks together
- Assistant General Manager
Ivy Stokes joined the Foxcroft team in 2016, starting out as a server and and quickly working her way up to Assistant General Manager. Ivy’s industry knowledge and sense of hospitality are all-important to the culture and success of the organization. Upon hearing about a potential Greenville location, Ivy jumped onboard for the new adventure.
When not hard at work Ivy can be found hanging out with sidekicks Scooter and bad, bad, Leroy Brown, her amazing dogs.
