Description
In Burgundy, AOC laws require that Crémant de Bourgogne be composed of at least thirty percent Pinot noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc or Pinot Gris. Other varietals such as Aligoté, Gamay and Melon de Bourgogne are often used to fill out the remaining parts of the bled. These wines must be produced using Methode Traditionnelle, the traditional method made famous by Champagne. Crémant de Bourgogne is the perfect alternative to pricy Champagne as they are similar in flavor profile and are the perfect pairing to any meal.
