$42 | 2-Pack: Cooper Mountain Chardonnay

Cooper Mountain is a pioneering winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, established on the outskirts of Portland in the late 1970’s. The winery began as and remains a family endeavor, with two generations of the Gross family guiding Cooper Mountain. Sine 2004, winemaker Gilles de Domingo has been overseeing the winemaking process from beginning to end.

There is more Chardonnay planted in the world than any other white wine on planet earth and is considered to be one of the most coveted, collectible wines. Cooper Mountain’s story with Chardonnay began many moons ago with the volcanic soils that cover the hillsides and mountains of the valley. The fruit for this Chardonnay is sourced from Meadowlark Vineyard and Old Vines Vineyard. Both are Certified Organic and Biodynamic.

Ageing: 50% stainless steel, 50% neutral oak

“This Willamette Valley Chardonnay shows no new oak characteristics, and instead delivers with a bouquet of fruit. Lemon zests forms a backdrop to green apple, pear and fresh pineapple. Hazelnuts and a crisp minerality combine to form a long and refreshing finish.”
