The Wonders of Washington State Vineyards
Washington State wines seemed to have burst into the market just a few years ago but they have been producing quality wines for decades. The majority of the varietals grown are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Cab Franc. It is a region that focuses on community as well as sustainability. Focusing on investment in research, helping their neighbors and using the climate and natural influences to create a sustainable industry. Washington wines are a good intermediate between California and France, concentrating more on earthy notes and an easy drinking style.
