The Montagne Saint-Émilion appellation was created in 1922 and, with its location between Pomerol and Saint-Émilion, it belongs to the prestigious wine regions on the right bank of the Bordeaux. Where on the left bank the grape Cabernet Sauvignon dominates, Merlot is king on the right bank. Year after year, the winemakers in this region succeed in making surprisingly full, intense and fruity wines from this grape. The Merlot in this wine throws all its strength and elegance into battle in this beautiful wine from Montagne Saint-Émilion.

This 100% Merlot pulls you in with aromas of black cherries, currants, cassis and a hint of vanilla. The slight richness on the palate with blackberry, raspberry, figs and baking spices are well balanced with an earthy minerality. Powerful at first, the tannins finish with elegance and grace.
