“The 2020 Pinot Noir Barrel Select comes from the El Jabali vineyard, was made with 10% whole-cluster and matured in 45% new oak. It has a medium ruby purple color and loads of black and red cherry fruit with savory accents of graphite, tar, mushrooms, and pipe tobacco. Medium bodied, chalky, and ultra refreshing, it offers detailed, layered flavors despite its broody aromatics, and unfurls impressively over time in the glass, offering structural harmony, intoxicating perfume and length. 502 cases produced.”
