Eric Cross

General Manager

When he was 15, Eric got a summer job washing dishes in a seafood restaurant on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. In the decades that followed, he worked as a busser, waited on tables, bartended, and managed bars and restaurants across the country. In New York City he met a bartender that ultimately became his wife. They moved to Los Angeles, and then back to New York, and then finally landed in Raleigh just about 20 years ago exactly. Along the way he has served thousands of guests, met innumerable fellow hospitality workers, enjoyed hundreds of great acquaintances and made some very, very good friends. It’s his honor to have the chance to provide outstanding dining experiences at Foxcroft, and hopes to see you soon!

Jarrad Gwaltney

Executive Chef

Chef Jarrad Gwaltney leads our Raleigh kitchen team with over 34 years of culinary storytelling under his belt.   Recognized as a leader in the industry by The James Beard Foundation, Jarrad brings a fresh, vibrant style that blends classic technique with a sense of fun and curiosity. When he’s not in the kitchen dreaming up new pairings for Foxcroft’s wine-loving guests, you’ll likely find him in his garden coaxing life out of stubborn herbs, hanging out with his dogs, who are convinced they’re his sous chefs, or banging out 80’s pop music on his ukulele.
