The French Wine region of Burgundy (aka “Bourgogne”) may be small in size, but its influence is huge in the world of vino. The complexity of Burgundy can cast fear into the heart of even a seasoned wine pro, but fear not – the region need only be as complicated as you want it to be. Yes, it is home to some of the most expensive wines in the known universe, but if you know where to look, there are great values to be found.
Mark Orsini is the owner/ founder of Orsini Wines, a wholesale distributor dedicated to enhancing the beverage programs of fine restaurants, wine shops and country clubs in North Carolina. Mark’s 2 decades in the beverage industry make him uniquely suited to share the complexities of a region like Burgundy. And of course, Chef Chris March has created a 4-course French dinner inspired by the best wines Burgundy has to offer.
