Pinot Noir Showdown: California vs Oregon Wine Dinner

With James Corbin from Orsini Wines

Pinot Noir is a thin-skinned grape that tends to produce wines with red fruit, soft tannins and a light color. It’s notoriously tricky to get just right, and certainly doesn’t grow well in nearly as many places as Cabernet or Merlot. But there’s something about the perfume and suave, elegant flavors that keeps us coming back for more, year after year. For this dinner we’ll taste a lineup of `California and Oregon wines side by side and let you be the judge of which wines you think are best!

Our very special guest will be James Corbin, regional manager for Orsini Wines and a 20+ year veteran of the wine industry. James is a great friend of Foxcroft and has been sharing the glories of Pinot Noir for more than a decade in what’s become an annual tradition here in Charlotte.

This is always one of our most popular events of the year and we’re so proud to be able to bring the excitement once again this season!
