Keely Rosenthal
Washington State is known for its mountains and greenery for as far as the eye can see. The Columbia Valley covers 99% of the vineyard area and offers the perfect terroir for growing grapes with 300 days of sunshine a year and desert-like rainfall due to the Cascade Mountains. This region also provides a large diurnal swing, an average 40-degree shift in day and nighttime temperatures, and an extremely unique soil type comprised of alluvial soil and volcanic ash that was caused by the Missoula Floods. All of these conditions combine to provide wines that highlight the best characteristics of both New and Old World styles.
We’re excited to have our Special Events Manager, Keely Rosenthal, as our guest speaker. Her perspective as a Washington State native will help her to give us an insider’s perspective into what makes this region so interesting and unique. The eight wines that she hand-selected will be paired with a four-course meal created by Chef William Peterson.
